Comedy Bandits are a certified good time. For real. They were awarded the ‘Best open mic night in London’ this year by Chortle and big wigs like Londonist and The Evening Standard are fans. And it’s no wonder. From their home (The Railway Clapham) they put on loads of shows featuring a range of some of the most established and up-and-coming comics on the scene at the moment. The nights are run by comedians and there are new line-ups every single week, so you can go on repeat and never see the same show twice.

Comedy is funny, sure, but you know what’s no joke? The cost of living crisis. So you’ll be pleased to hear that the Comedy Bandits even have evenings that are completely free to attend. In an almost unheard of move for London, every Wednesday and Thursday you can spend exactly zero Great British pounds and still have an excellent night out! Keep an eye on their instagram for all the details on those here.

If you don’t mind spending a little bit then the monthly ‘pro shows’ will be worth your cash. These always feature a big name and will set you back just £9 (and there’s often early bird prices to make the most of and drink deals in collaboration with The Railway Clapham too). Previous TV headliners have included Rhys James, Alison Spittle, Kemah Bob, Jacob Hawley… you get the picture. They’ve got some big shows in the pipeline, check out what’s coming up:

  • Friday 3rd November – headliner: Ed Night
  • Friday 17th November – headliner: Catherine Bohart
  • Thursday 14th December – headliner: Sarah Keyworth (Christmas special!)

Make sure you snap up your tickets before they go and you’ll be laughing.
