This October, Lift 109 at Battersea Power Station is hosting something truly unique: an Elevated Sound Bath experience that will have you feeling on top of the world – literally.
Here’s the picture: you step into a glass lift, ascend 109 metres to the top of Battersea Power Station’s iconic northwest chimney, and boom – you’re met with jaw-dropping views of the London skyline. But that’s not all. As you gaze over the city lights, sound therapist Farzana Ali will guide you through a soothing, heart-centred sound bath to help you let go of the day’s stress.
It’s all part of the Lift 109 Lates series – an exclusive after-hours event designed to make you feel like you’re floating above the hustle and bustle of London.
If you’re new to sound baths, here’s the lowdown: it’s a calming wellness practice where you’re immersed in gentle sound waves from instruments like singing bowls. It’s an effortless way to reset your mind and body. And, with this experience happening 109 metres in the air, it’s not just the sound that’s going to leave you feeling elevated – the view will take care of that too.
Farzana will be using alchemy crystal singing bowls to create a serene soundscape that will melt away your worries. Picture this: peaceful sounds, the twinkling city below, and all your stress just fading away. Bliss, right?
The Elevated Sound Bath is happening on Thursday 17th October and Thursday 24th October with two evening sessions: 7pm-8pm and 8pm-9pm. Tickets are £45, which covers the Lift 109 journey and the 45-minute sound bath. Limited spaces are available, so book early to snag your spot!
