Clapham, you’re in for a treat! The Ox is opening its doors on Monday 14th October, and it’s bringing something seriously special to the local food scene.

Taking over the spot where The Saxon once stood, The Ox has had a top-to-toe makeover, blending cosy original features with chic, contemporary vibes. Whether you’re soaking up the atmosphere in the main bar, having an intimate dinner in the mezzanine restaurant, or enjoying a few drinks on their rooftop terrace, you’re in for an experience that’s all about laid-back style with a modern twist.
And the food? It’s a celebration of seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. The highlight? Sustainably sourced beef from their very own family farm in Scotland – dry-aged on-site to make sure every bite is full of rich, unbeatable flavour. You won’t want to miss the fillet of Scottish Luing beef, served up with smoked eel, potato terrine, and salt-baked celeriac. If you’re more of a burger fan, their Japanese smashed burger with bone marrow mayo and dipping jus is the ultimate indulgence.
