The light festival returns to Battersea Power Station.

The wait is almost over! The Battersea Power Station Light Festival is back for its fifth year, running from 23rd January to 23rd February 2025.

Get ready to brighten up your winter evenings with eight stunning light installations from both British and international artists.

This year, the festival features four UK debuts and an exclusive piece called Aurora, inspired by the Northern Lights, which will take over the iconic Turbine Hall A. Highlights include Spin Me a Yarn, a massive illuminated art installation, and Spider, a glowing collection of 80 spiders that will take over Turbine Hall B. There’s even Never Ends, an interactive fairytale horse that promises to capture your imagination.

And let’s not forget, it’s completely free to attend.

It’s more than just lights

Battersea Power Station has more to offer than dazzling displays. With over 150 shops, bars, and restaurants, it’s the perfect destination for a full evening out. Whether you’re indulging in Dishoom’s legendary curries, enjoying cocktails at Control Room B, or grabbing a treat from the Chimney Cake pop-up hut, there’s something for everyone.

Feeling fancy? Drop by Searcys Champagne Bar, or shop your way through stores like ZARA, Reformation, and the LEGO® Store.

Kick things off with a bang

To celebrate the launch, there’ll be roaming performances across Power Station Park and Electric Boulevard on 23rd, 25th, and 26th January.

With its easy access via the Zone 1 Battersea Power Station Underground station and Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, getting there couldn’t be easier.

This festival is one of the highlights of winter in London, so gather your friends, plan your visit, and prepare to be dazzled. See you there!
