The Power Station is your one stop destination for Mother’s Day. Gifts, activities, deals at restaurants… there’s something for every mum.
Get active
Hosted by Jelly Belly PT in the heart of the Power Station, these classes are perfect for brand new mums. The postnatal fit classes are all about reconnecting with the body after the baby is born, and building strength and confidence whilst you’re at it (babies welcome to these classes too!). There are also baby sensory classes which are weekly themed classes for brand new babies to 13 months old- great for gathering tips and tricks for creative play with your new person!
Lift 109 and Afternoon tea
For a truly spoiling day out, take advantage of the close proximity of TOZI and Lift 109. Take your mum up to enjoy panoramic views of London in the iconic chimney lift before heading down to ground level for a luxurious afternoon tea at TOZI. TOZI are even putting on a cocktail special- the ‘La Mia Mamma’ is a little vodka, peach liqueur, rose Prosecco number that sounds as gorgeous as the woman you are treating to it.
Do some flower arranging
There’s nothing like a bouquet of flowers to show your appreciation for someone, so why not try your hand and DIY one at this Rituals flower arranging workshop on the 15th? Inspired with their sakura blossom scent, you know this is going to be a good smelling bunch.
Order in
…But make it special. Wright Brothers have created 2 beautiful pies that come in two flavours (fish or chicken). Order them to your home, heat in the oven and treat your mum to a, ehem, ‘home cooked’ meal for the both of you.
Head to Gordon’s place
Either one! Both of Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants (that’s Bread Street Kitchen & Bar and Street Pizza) are offering mums a complimentary limited-edition strawberry spritz when eating in. So whether your mum’s in the market for a traditional Sunday roast or wants to go for bottomless pizza instead, there will be a lovely drink waiting for her. Thanks, Gordon.
