Wes Anderson must have one of the most recognisable artistic styles of our times. The American filmmakers movies are distinctly colourful, fun and eccentric. The French Dispatch, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Asteroid City, Fantastic Mr Fox… there are over 23 films and shorts with his name on them, each more iconic than the last.

Which is why there wasn’t much surprise in the media-world when the viral ‘accidentally Wes Anderson’ trend took off. If you missed it, TikTok and Instagram saw thousands uploading reels of them going about their lives in a style resembling that of the filmmaker. That social media whirlwind really took off, and has culminated in a real life exhibition. What started in Seoul is now coming to the Old Brompton Road this December. Accidentally Wes Anderson will celebrate “an adventurous journey around the world through photography” where over 200 photographs displayed in 7 differently themed rooms will be on show. Each picture will represent a bit of that Wes Anderson magic from all over the world- each continent is featured and travel, exploration and adventure are big themes of the event.

Doors open on 6th December and the exhibition will run until mid Feb 2024.
