And to celebrate a decade in operation, they are throwing a big birthday bash which has been cleverly named ‘BrixTEN’.
Mark your calendars for 9th September because Brixton Brewery are turning 10 years old and they want you to know about it. For a whole decade Brixton Brewery have been creating incredible craft beers that have been enjoyed in all corners of the globe- starting from their humble SW9 beginnings they’ve expanded to create some incredible beers in partnerships with Oddbox, Harlem Brewing Co in NYC, the Van Gough House… there are too many to name. But they’ve always stood by their line ‘get a taste of Brixton’, and one sip of their Electric I.P.A or Coldharbour Larger and you’ll know they really mean what they say.
This birthday party will be a little different to any other 10th birthday party; think less pin-the-tail and pass the parcel and a lot more beer. For one day they’ll be turning their courtyard into a mini festival: live music (Brixton Chamber Orchestra, Feeble Strength and Mama Sutra will be serenading you) food vendors (the iconic En Root and Jeff the Chef), DJ sets (Brixton Radio Takeover, Cyndi Handson, Babajide Tikare, Daniel. b2b Faley and Maybe Laura) and, of course, fantastic drinks. If you RSVP early then you’ll get a free pint and a limited edition Brixton Brewery reusable cup included in your £5 ticket.
