This festive season, Brixton Wine Club is bringing back their iconic Wine Advent Calendar, featuring 24 wines from 10 countries. But that’s not all – they’ve also launched a brand new Red Wine Advent Calendar that’s packed with 24 different reds from 8 countries. It’s a perfect way to count down to Christmas, glass in hand.
Let’s start with the original. This year’s advent calendar features 24 wines carefully chosen to keep things fresh and exciting throughout December. Highlights include a Mediterranean orange wine, sparkling bubbles from New Zealand, a crisp French Sauvignon Blanc, a robust Spanish Malbec, and a low-intervention Riesling from Germany. You’ll be sipping your way around the world without leaving your sofa!
Each calendar comes with tasting notes from Brixton Wine Club’s founder, so you’ll get a little education with your wine too. With 10 whites, 10 reds, 2 sparkling, 1 rosé, and 1 orange wine, this is perfect for anyone who loves variety and discovering new favourites.
New for 2024, the Red Wine Advent Calendar is for those who like their wine deep, bold, and full of flavour. This edition showcases 24 red wines from 8 countries, and includes robust South African reds, an elegant English Pinot Noir, a delightful Malbec, organic selections, and a luscious dessert wine made from Red Muscadel. It’s the perfect way to keep warm on those chilly December nights.
Like the original calendar, the wines are perfectly portioned into ‘glass-sized’ servings (187ml to 250ml), meaning you can enjoy a generous pour without committing to a full bottle. And the eco-friendly bonus? Canned wine cuts carbon emissions by 79% compared to traditional glass bottles – so you’re doing your bit for the planet while indulging.
