Autumn arrives at Minnow with free corkage Tuesdays and cosy new dishes.

As autumn sets in and the days grow cooler, Old Town favourite Minnow is embracing the season with some exciting new offerings.

Among the delicious updates? Free Corkage Tuesdays, giving diners the chance to enjoy their own bottle of wine (or three) without paying a corkage fee during dinner service.

The team has also been hard at work crafting a selection of seasonal dishes that capture the comforting flavours of autumn.

“We tend to update our menu four times a year, really focusing on showcasing the best ingredients of each season,” explains manager Saba. “Now that October is here, we’re thrilled to debut our autumn lineup, which will be available both for daytime dining and our evening dinner service.”

During the day, Minnow offers an expanded menu with brunch items, salads, sandwiches, and a set lunch deal. But the real star of the show is the new three-course dinner menu, which diners can enjoy à la carte.

Beef Bourguignon and Parmesan polenta

One of the highlights is the indulgent French onion soup, topped with a bubbly layer of melted Gruyère. For starters, the burrata with warm Cabernet-braised wild mushrooms is a sophisticated twist on a classic, and seafood lovers will delight in the tender salt and pepper squid.

When it comes to mains, the chefs have really showcased their skills. The steak is served with a vibrant watercress salad and a rich peppercorn sauce, while the beef bourguignon is paired with creamy parmesan polenta (drooling just typing this!). Vegetarians will savour the earthy wild mushroom risotto.

Minnow’s early evening special is also a must—available Monday to Wednesday, 5:30-6:30 pm, two courses can be enjoyed for just £24.

Whether you’re craving comfort food or seeking a cosy date night, Minnow’s inviting atmosphere and autumn menu have something to delight every palate. Be sure to save room for dessert too—the crumble with cinnamon ice cream and the Basque cheesecake were the perfect sweet finishes to our meal!
