Get ready for a winter wonderland as Glide at Battersea Power Station returns for its third magical season!
Starting from 8th November 2024, this breathtaking open-air ice rink reopens, offering an enchanting winter experience set against the iconic backdrop of the Grade II* listed Power Station on the banks of the River Thames.
This year, Glide promises to be even more magical. The masterminds at IMG, known for the Lift 109 experience and Winter Wonderland, have worked their festive magic once again. Tickets will be available from 25th July 2024, with an exclusive pre-sale starting on 23rd July 2024. This ice rink isn’t just any rink—it’s three interconnecting rinks, beautifully designed to give skaters of all abilities plenty of space to glide and twirl. At the centre of it all stands a magnificent 30ft Christmas tree, adding a festive sparkle to the skating experience. Whether you’re planning a romantic date, a fun outing with friends, or a family day out with the little ones using penguin skate aids, Glide promises an unforgettable experience for everyone.
Beyond the ice, the festive fun continues with an array of vintage-style fairground rides and a charming carousel. Capture the magic with stunning photo opportunities throughout the site. The Glass House bar makes a delightful return, offering a cosy retreat with pizza, snacks, and a fantastic mix of drinks. Open to non-skaters too, The Glass House will feature a variety of entertainment, including quizzes, themed music nights, and DJ sets. Its transparent walls and ceiling allow visitors to enjoy the festive atmosphere and iconic Power Station views in cosy comfort.
