Half-term just got a serious upgrade.
The Lion King musical—one of the biggest and best-loved shows in the West End—is celebrating a whopping 20 million visitors with a free pop-up exhibition at Battersea Power Station. And trust us, you don’t want to miss it.
This isn’t just any exhibition—it’s a backstage pass to all things Lion King. Expect to be wowed by the incredible masks, puppets, and costumes that have brought this iconic show to life for over two decades. You’ll get to see Rafiki, Zazu, and the awe-inspiring masks of Mufasa, Simba, and Nala up close—because let’s be honest, we’ve all wanted a better look at the magic behind the scenes.
If that wasn’t enough, there were also exclusive performance and vocal workshops led by Disney Teaching Artists throughout the week—but, unsurprisingly, they’ve already been snapped up. That said, you can still soak up the theatre magic for free, and that’s a pretty sweet deal.
The Lion King musical has been dominating the West End for 26 years, dazzling audiences with its unforgettable performances and jaw-dropping visuals. With over 232 puppets bringing the story to life, it’s still one of the most spectacular shows in town.
But for now, get Battersea Power Station on your half-term hit list and step into the world of The Lion King like never before. Hakuna Matata, folks!
