Imagine a festival celebrating the very essence of British culture (AKA pubs). How good would that be! Oh, hold on…
What do you love about a pub? The drinks, of course. The food, yes. The live music on a Friday night, absolutely. Now imagine that magnified into a whole festival and surely you’ve just ended up in the Great British Dream.
That is essentially what Pub in the Park is. Developed by Tom Kerridge, it is a celebration of all things ‘pubby’ in a weekend-long festival. This year, Pub in the Park is returning to Wimbledon and bringing with it a tasty line up of both musicians and chefs to keep you entertained and fuelled all weekend.
On the tunes you’ll be seeing the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Faithless DJ set, Soul II Soul, Basement Jaxx and Stereo MC’s to name a few. And the food! You’ll be seeing all kinds of variety, from street food to Michelin fine dining, so you’ll be catered for whatever your tastebuds are craving.
The festival is also family friendly with dedicated kids areas, so bring the whole gang for a proper pub trip.
