Night owls, this is for you. For the next two Thursdays the shops in Brixton Village are keeping their doors open until 10pm.
It can be hard to find the time to do the Christmas shopping. Work’s busy, there are parties to go to and by the time you’ve found a second, the shops have already closed. It can be tempting to turn to Amazon for ease, but we all know that supporting our local, small businesses is a much better move…
Thankfully, Brixton Village have come to the rescue. For the next 2 Thursdays (the 7th and 14th) all 100+ shops will be keeping their doors open until 10pm, so you can get all your presents sorted after hours! You don’t need us to tell you about the huge range of vendors in the market, so you really will be able to find something for everyone on your list.
Aside from the shopping, there’s a load of other things to tempt you down to Brixton. Between 7pm and 10pm the village staff will be randomly giving £100 vouchers to lucky visitors and- if you spend over £30 on the night- you’ll be able to enter a competition to win some Village-based prizes! Of course, our delicious eateries will be on hand to keep you fuelled up with warming food and drinks and there’ll be Christmassy DJ sets from Just Vibez Sound System and Handson Family to really get you feeling merry.
Stay up late, get charmed by the twinkly lights and cosy interior of the Village and get your shopping done whilst you’re at it!
