Alright, South Londoners, get ready to do a little happy dance because Tamila is making its way to Northcote Road in Battersea!
North London has been raving about The Tamil Prince in Islington, and now it’s our turn to get a taste of what all the fuss is about. And just to set the record straight, that’s Battersea, folks—not Clapham!
Taking over the former VE Kitchen site, Tamila promises to be your new favourite spot for South Indian-inspired goodness. With seating for 50, it’s perfect for your next casual get-together. There’ll be room for walk-ins and a bit of alfresco dining for those elusive sunny days we all crave. Tamila has already been turning heads at Hackney Bridge Kitchens, where their curry club was a Tuesday night staple, but now they’re here for the full-time gig!
So, what’s on the menu? Get excited because Tamila will serve up the signature dishes you love from their Hackney days, with some new surprises thrown in. Think flaky rotis, rich South Indian curries, and freshly grilled tandoor delights. Here’s a little taste of what’s to come:
And what’s a great meal without great drinks? You’re in for a treat with Tamila’s Indian-spiced cocktails like the Tamil Negroni and the Gunpowder Margarita, plus a selection of wines and the house special Tamila lager. We’ll raise a glass to that!
So, keep your ears to the ground and your taste buds at the ready—Tamila is set to open soon, and trust us, it’s going to be epic. Northcote Road, you’re in for a real treat!
