On the 18th June this year, the cyclists are taking to the roads again in this huge road-biking event. The 54 mile route from London to Brighton is the oldest charity bike ride in Europe and every year 10,000 cyclists will make the pilgrimage all the way from Clapham Common to Brighton seafront. This year there will be 21 charity partners taking part in the ride, meaning that the cyclists will have the opportunity to raise some cash for some fantastic charities too.

The ride really caters for all kinds of cyclists- from the super speedy (who will finish the ride in just over 3 hours) to those cycling with their kids, there will be a huge range of lycra-clad people taking on the challenge.

Cycling not for you? Why not show your support and make your way down to the Common in June to cheer on the thousands of brave souls taking on the challenge instead- they’ll be very grateful for the support!
