The Brixton Chamber Orchestra is coming to you this July

The Brixton Chamber Orchestra isn’t a normal orchestra. The 25-piece band take on all genres of music and create some really impressive, fun shows. Though they can nail the traditional pieces, there won’t be hours upon hours of classical tunes when you go and see them play. Usually they play a really diverse set: classics, pop tunes, grime, gospel, jazz… what ever gets your foot tapping they’ll probably be able to play it.

Their bi-annual estate tour is back for the summer and between the 21st and 30th July the orchestra will be putting on an impressive 12 concerts in estates around the south west, all for free! As ever, it’s going to be a lot of fun. There will be special surprise guests, street dancers and even an open mic section at the end of the show where anyone is welcome to perform with the orchestra. And though the performances will all be completely free, you can make a donation to the orchestra which will help them continue bringing their free concerts to the community.
