There’s free music at the Bandstand all summer long

This summer sees the return of the free concerts at Clapham Common Bandstand. Jazz, orchestral, Afro-Cuban… it’s every and all genres too!

The 10th June will see the return of free concerts to Clapham Common. If you were around last summer, you’ll remember the incredible programme of musical performances that graced our ears over the hot months, and the good news is: it’s back for another year!

Clapham Common Management Advisory Committee (CCMAC) have joined forced with the Lambeth Council to create this series of concerts. They’ll be taking over the bandstand from the 10th June all the way until the 29th July where, every Saturday and Sunday between 2pm and 4pm, a different band/orchestra/soloist will take to the stage for your entertainment. Could there be anything lovelier whilst you sip on a coffee (or cool glass of rosé) from the Pear Tree Cafe? The schedule is really diverse too, so there will be something for every music taste. Afro-Cuban, classical, pop, jazz… whatever it is that gets your feet tapping!
