Tooting’s annual pumpkin parade is back

Good for kids, adults, ghosts and ghouls… The Tooting Pumpkin Parade is back for 2023! Better get carving.

The Friends of Tooting Common are a little bit famous for their annual Pumpkin Parade. It’s always big, spooky and a really fun Autumnal activity to get you in the Halloween spirit. This year it will be taking place on the 29th October between 3.30pm and 5pm and there will be a load of competitions for you to enter. At £1 a pop, the pumpkins can be entered into 3 categories: the scariest, the funniest and the most artistic. There will also be a competition for the best- and homemade- costume (under 5 and over 5 year old categories). The highlight of the yearly event is the parade of lit pumpkins which is always magical and, okay, a little bit scary too.
