Trinity retains Michelin star for ninth year

Big news for Clapham foodies—our very own Trinity has done it again!

The much-loved neighbourhood restaurant has retained its Michelin star for the ninth consecutive year, proving once more why it remains a top dining destination in South West London.

The accolade was announced at the Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland 2025 ceremony, held on February 10 at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum. It’s a huge moment for Clapham’s dining scene, reinforcing Trinity’s reputation as a local gem with global recognition.

Under the watchful eye of chef-owner Adam Byatt, Trinity has been serving up exceptional modern British cuisine since 2006. Next year marks a huge milestone for the restaurant as they celebrate 20 years since opening, a testament to their dedication to quality and innovation.

The restaurant bagged its first Michelin star in 2016 and has kept hold of it ever since. And if they retain it again next year, that will mark a full decade of Michelin-starred excellence—an incredible feat in the competitive world of fine dining. With its perfect balance of refined yet approachable dining, it’s no surprise they’ve achieved such consistent success.

And it doesn’t stop there—Adam Byatt also scooped up the prestigious Chef Mentor Award at the 2025 ceremony. If you’ve ever dined at Trinity, you’ll know this guy is the real deal. His impact goes beyond his own kitchen, mentoring some of the UK’s top chefs, including Tom Sellers of the two-Michelin-starred Restaurant Story and Graham Squire of the one-Michelin-starred Dining Room at The Goring.

Speaking about the award, Byatt said, “I’m dumbstruck… there are some brilliant people who’ve come through my kitchen.” And Clapham is lucky to have him leading the charge in our local food scene.

With the Michelin Guide celebrating its 125th anniversary, Trinity’s latest achievement only adds to Clapham’s growing reputation as a must-visit for food lovers. So, if you haven’t booked a table yet, what are you waiting for? Let’s celebrate local, celebrate quality, and most importantly—celebrate Trinity!
