Not sorted plans for the final moments of 2023 yet? Don’t panic. Here are some of the best events in Clapham to ring in 2024 with.
The Little Orange Door, SW4 7AB
Want a cosy house party vibe for your NYE but don’t want to stress about getting your favourite glasses smashed? Head to the Little Orange Door for their 3 course supper club, followed by a DJ to get you on your feet until 2024 rolls in.
LIT, SW4 7UX
This one goes on till 6am, so it’s perfect for the Big Night Out lovers. The music policy is ‘Bashment vs Afrobeats’ so expect big anthems all night (and, erm, morning) long.
Two Brewers, SW4 7UJ
Two Brewers are going for a black and white theme for their NYE ball. There will be Drag Queens performing from 7pm (Amy LaQueefa, Miss Jason, Son of a Tutu, Mary Mac, Sandra) so get there early to make the most of the evening. Oh, and your ticket gets you into the New Year’s Day Cabaret on the 1st. You know, if you’re not quite partied out at that point.
Tonight Josephine, SW4 7UR
Start early and finish late, because Tonight Josephine is kicking off their party at 7pm and won’t be slowing down until the early hours of Monday morning. There’ll be DJs, a drag host, lip-sync battles, group karaoke and buckets of sassy, riotous fun.
Trinity, SW4 0JG
If you’re looking to do a refined NYE this year, then there is only one place to go. Trinity is hosting a few lucky people at their restaurant where you’ll have your evening meticulously sorted. You’ll begin at 7pm with Champagne, canapés and live music before feasting on a seven (yes, seven!) course meal. Then you’ll head Upstairs for ‘after dinner treats’, more drinks, more live music and a lot of merriment.
ARCH, SW4 6DH
It’s all about “out with the old, in with the new” at the Arch NYE ball. There’ll be a complimentary glass of Prosecco awaiting your arrival and there is no doubt it will be as fabulous as you could hope for.
Pub Crawl, SW4 7AA
We kind of love how brash this one is. You know exactly what you’re getting from this NYE event. You’re getting drunk. Starting at Be At One between 6pm-7pm, you’ll make your way around 4 of Clapham’s establishments where you’ll get free shots and exclusive deals. Perfect for the person always looking for where to go next- at this event, it’s pre-planned for you!
The Pig’s Head, SW4 0DR
This is the perfect NYE if you want to do something but you don’t feel like crowding into a busy club. Instead, hunker down at the Pig’s Head and have an equally delightful evening. You’ll get a 4 course meal which kicks off with oysters and finishes with some of the most delicious deserts you’ll have had all year long (chocolate hot pot with a salted caramel marshmallow anyone?). A low-key but still special way to say goodbye to 2023.
The Bread & Roses, SW4 6DZ
Start 2024 as you mean to go on: laughing! This comedy night at the Bread & Roses will host 6 top quality comedians to get you giggling your way into the New Year. After the comedy show wraps up at 11pm, there’ll be an afterparty at the venue where there’ll be a live DJ and dancing, so you can really hunker down in one spot all night long! You’ll get a glass of fizz and bites to eat included with your ticket too.
Infernos, SW4 7UH
No event guide is complete without the addition of our ol’ faithful. At Infernos they are describing their disco party as “glitter, glam, decadence and delight”. How many VKs is too decadent? Please report back.
Simmons, SW4 7SS
It’s back and it’s as bottomless as ever! The Simmons NYE party went bottomless last year and- unsurprisingly- it was a huge success. So they’re doing the same again this year; your ticket will get you drinks all night long. Get the standard package for all house spirits, wine and beer or upgrade for premium spirits, bottled beers and Prosecco. Of course there’ll be DJs playing your favourite bangers all night long, so you’ll burn off all that booze in no time.
