Where to watch the Six Nations in Clapham

Hold on to your pints, things are about to get exciting. We’ve got a list of all the spots in Clapham showing the rugby this Six Nations. Come on England!

Ok, where isn’t showing the rugby? Chances are, most places you’re thinking of in Clapham will be offering some kind of viewing experience. But to help you make your mind up about where to head to watch the games, here’s a helpful list of all the places and the need to know details.


The Rose & Crown, SW4 0JG

The details: At The Rose & Crown you can reserve dining tables or tables especially reserved for The Six Nations, so you know you’ll be in the right part of the pub to be amongst the action. Plus they have some banging grub to keep you fuelled for all that cheering.


The Clapham North, SW9 9BT

The details: 6 large screens. Sound up. Every seat in the pub can see a screen. They are very nearly fully booked but grab the last few seats online, or chance your luck and walk in.


The Windmill, SW4 9DE

The details: The Windmill will be showing all the games on a mostly first come first served basis. If you’re organised, you can book via the website and all bookable tables require a food package tag on too. It means you’re guaranteed a prime view and prime food to go along with it (think Ginger Pig sharing steaks plus sides)… and a drink on the house when you get there. That’s a way to set the tone!


The Railway Tavern, SW4 7UR

The details: Walk ins are welcome but bookings guarantee a table! They’ll have a full burger menu on for every game… Plus you’ll be right there on the High Street: perfect stumbling distance to a bar or club to (hopefully) continue the celebrations.


Bubba Oasis, SW4 7UR

The details: £5 prime time pints! Get your mitts on a cheap pint an hour before, an hour after and during the match. Rumour has it there’ll be beer pong set up… perfect to let off a bit of steam.


O’Neill’s, SW4 7UD

The details: Showing all the games in HD with surround sound for the ultimate experience! You can book but there’ll be a few tables free on the day for walk ins.


The Alexandra, SW4 7AA

The details: Of course The Alex is on the 6 Nations bandwagon! They’ve got ‘super HD projectors’ and are promising an unmissable atmosphere.


The Sun, SW4 0JL

The details: No frills, classic pub. You could bring literally anyone to The Sun and they’d have a good time. Showing all games.


The Perky Nel, SW4 9DW

The details: Every match is shown behind the Arch, a little nook where rugby fans from far and wide will nestle in. With the bar and kitchen there too, once you’ve got your spot there’s no need to move for the whole of the Six Nations.


The Abbeville, SW4 9JW

The details: 1 big screen in the bar and an extra 100″ projector so you wont miss a second of the action.


The Falcon, SW4 7SQ

The details: They’ve got 6 screens ready to show all matches- both inside and in the garden. Walk ins available (they’re already at bookable capacity for the first 2 England games!) and it’s worth chancing your luck because they’ve got deals on Prosecco (£20) and Veuve (£45) on Fridays until 8pm… lets hope there’s something worth celebrating!


The Apollo Arms, SW4 0JT

The details: They’ll be showing all games and though you can walk in they’re encouraging people to ring up and book. There’ll be deals on jugs of ale and beer and a 6 Nation special menu… which you know will be good.


Prince of Wales, SW4 0LB

The details: One for the beer lovers! They’ve got 12 different beers on tap meaning you’ll never have an empty hand when the tries start coming in.


The Phoenix, SW9 9AR

The details: Walk-ins welcome at The Phoenix! They’ve got 6 TV’s both inside and out (covered and heated), so there’s lots of space to see the action. Plus they’re running a stout and burger deal (£15!) as well.


No.32 The Old Town, SW4 0JE

The details: There’s some 6 Nation deals to be making the most of here: The house breakfast (classic or vegan) comes with a pint, glass of house wine or soft drink for just £17.50 on match days between 9am until 4pm. Or if you’re planning on heading down a bit later you can switch the breakfast with a house burger, fries and a drink for the same price! That deal runs from 11.30am till close on match days.


The Avalon, SW12 9EB

The details: Just £25 will secure your seat and get you a 12 inch pizza or burger of your choice and a drink (beer, larger or a glass of the house wine). Seat and match watching fuel: sorted.


The King and Co, SW4 7BZ

The details: Three large screens, craft beer and perfect game day food. At the moment Boca Chica are in the kitchen bringing Dominican flavours to your rugby watching experience. Plus- and this is good- if you book in advance and buy a £50 voucher online, The King and Co will double your bar tab… so you’ll have £100 to spend! There’ll also be £4 jugs of London Pilsner and VESPA on offer during the games.


The Belle Vue, SW4 7AA

The details: Of course The Belle Vue is showing the Six Nations. Its central location means that you can get suitably pickled whilst watching the game and then make your way to one of the clubs on the High Street to continue your night.


Old Town Tavern, SW4 0HJ

The details: OTT will have screens spread across their 2 floors, so you literally can’t escape the atmosphere. It’s the immersive experience we can get behind.


The Rookery, SW4 9DA

The details: The Rookery are doing a walk-in only policy for the 6 Nations… perfect for the forgetful. And, according to them, they’ve got the best value pints in Clapham. Worthy of a trip.


The Landor, SW9 9PH

The details: It’s always a great atmosphere here…Watch any of the games inside or, if you need a bit of air, in the beer garden.
