Brixton’s food scene is about to get even better—YouMeSushi is opening its doors, bringing fresh, handmade sushi and hot Japanese dishes to the area.

George Sousa is leading the Brixton branch. With 10 years as a sushi chef and three years as head chef at YouMeSushi, he knows his way around a sushi counter. Now, he’s stepping up as a franchisee to run his own store. A locally recruited team will support him, ensuring top-quality service and the freshest dishes in town.
The brand has had a busy year. This marks the sixth new location in 12 months, with five more on the way. Since launching in 2008, YouMeSushi has expanded to 27 outlets across the UK.
“We’ve worked hard to create a pioneering menu that blends traditional sushi with modern Japanese flavours,” said Tim Circus, Head of Franchise at YouMeSushi. “The demand is growing, and we’re always looking for passionate entrepreneurs to join our family.”
