What to do in Clapham this May Bank Holiday

We’ve got three whole days to fill this weekend, and if you’re wondering how to fill your days, let us give you a helping hand.

Race for Life

When: 27th May

Where: Clapham Common, SW4 9DE

This pink-stained 3km run/jog/walk/amble kicks off at 11am on Saturday. Lace up your trainers and join in the fundraiser for Cancer Research UK. Or if you don’t run, why not head over and cheer on the participants instead? They’ll appreciate it.

Forbidden Nights

When: 27th May

Where: Infernos, SW4 7UH

Start off the Bank Holiday with a pulse racing evening at Forbidden Nights, where Infernos will turn into your best fantasy. The ‘Sexy Circus’ has come to town, and you’ll be entertained by men in uniform, provocative choreography, thrilling routines… this is a night you’ll not forget.

Clapham Spring Market

When: Saturday 27th May

Where: 3 Nightingale Lane, SW4 9AH

We love a market, and this one features over 25 local makers, creatives and designers who will be selling their bespoke products. Enjoy browsing from a huge range of all the lovely classic bits and bobs you can find at a fair, and why not give the drop-in embroidery workshop a go too? The craft fair will be open from midday until 5pm, and it’s dog friendly!

Bottomless Drag Brunch

When: 28th May

Where: Osteria Mbare, SW4 7SS

Everyone knows it’s not a Bank Holiday without a bottomless brunch. Osteria Mbare only do their drag brunch on the last Sunday of every month, and it just so happens that this one lands on the Bank Hol- what fantastic timing. There will be a fantastic drag show, which you can just sign up for… but we’d recommend upgrading your ticket and getting the bottomless pasta and drinks as well too. Choose your sitting at 12pm-2pm or 2pm-4pm but either way, it’s rowdy.

24 hour fundraiser

Where: Two Brewers, SW4 7UJ

The Two Brewers are hosting a 12 hour fundraiser party for Miss Jason (one of their regular performers who is currently unwell) from 2pm on Bank Holiday Monday.
