Here you’ve got a melting pot of up and coming gigs as well as venues with regular shows. There’s something for everyone- get ready to giggle.
Banana Cabaret @ The Bedford, Balham
Every Friday and Saturday night the big names flock to The Bedford, which has made quite the name for itself in the comedy circuit. The likes of Harry Hill, Shappi Khorsandi and Lee Mack have all taken a spin on the stage there- who knows which big timer will pop up next.
The Laugh Train Home @ the Four Thieves, Battersea
Make hump-day happy with these weekly Wednesday events at the Four Thieves. You’ll get a headline act and a couple of additional comics to really make the most of this 2 hour show.
Goldfinch Comedy Night @ Goldfinch Tooting
On the 4th October head to this intimate cocktail bar, get a fantastic drink and settle into the small space for some big laughs. You’ll see a whole lot of comics too; Carl Donnelly , Matthew McAloone, Rick Kieswetter , Cheekykita , Siân Docksey, Ali Cook & MC Siôn James will all be there to get you chuckling into your G&T.
The Comedy Bandits @ The Railway Tavern, Clapham
Super cheap, super funny. Every Thursday head down to Clapham North for a free show, or pull out a fiver for the Friday night gigs. These often sell out, so best book in advance if you want to guarantee a spot in the rowdy crowd.
Comedy at the Tram @ The Tram and Social, Tooting
On the 1st Thursday every month The Tram and Social hosts a comedy night. We especially like that doors open a whole 45min pre-show and there are two intervals too- plenty of time to get the drinks in.
Comedy Sundays @ The Railway, Streatham Common
See the month out well with comedy Sundays at The Railway in Streatham where the last Sunday of the month is always a laugh. Whilst you are there don’t forget to grab some of their sharing small plates to keep you fuelled as you laugh.
Collywobblers Comedy Club @ Sai Restaurant, Raynes Park
On the 21st September treat yourself to a night of comedy and curry at Sai. You’ll get full blown giggles courtesy of Nabil Abdulrashid, Stella Graham, Will Burns & MC Sion James and full blown flavour from a two course buffet curry. That’s one brilliantly fun night out if you ask us!
