Did you know that goose was the traditional centrepiece of a British Christmas lunch? See ya later, turkey. This menu is all about the goose.
Nothing screams Christmas like ‘Festive Goose menu at Trinity’. And now we can officially welcome all things Yuletide because Adam Byatt, of Clapham’s only Michelin starred restaurant, has announced that the Festive Goose menu will be back this year to grace our plates. Thank goodness for that.
The whole point of the menu is to bring people together over a big feast, hence why the menu will only be available for groups of 4 or more people. The 3 courses will be a celebration of all things Christmas, start with a sharing baked Vacherin Mont d’Or (similar to a gooey camembert) and a seafood and prawn cocktail.
Move on to the show stopping, very classic roast goose with all the lovely trimmings and finish up with a choice of desert: Yule log, mincemeat tart with Christmas pudding butter or stay savoury-ish with Stitchelton and roasted figs. Everyone will finish off the meal with clementines and tea or coffee. How very, very delicious. Book in, hunker down, and hope you’ll wake up from your food coma in time for the 25th.
Launching on the 1st of December, the menu will be available for lunch and dinner placings on Tuesdays to Saturdays throughout the festive period. Book by emailing: dine@trinityrestaurant.co.uk
