Celebrate ‘Singles Day’ with a blackout event at Willows

So it’s not technically a ‘recognised holiday’ but that won’t stop us recognising it. Willows is celebrating the 15th Feb, and you should go.

Single people, the 15th February is your moment. Valentine’s Day is done and Singles Day is yours to claim. If you are looking for a way to celebrate being untethered, look no further than Willows. They are putting on a candlelit evening that is not to be missed.

The menu is the same as the Valentine’s special. For £35pp you’ll get a menu designed to be shared between you and your friend. On arrival you’ll be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine as well as olives, crisps and nuts to nibble on. Then comes the sharing extravaganza: a cheese and charcuterie board, potato and raclette, short rib with a red wine glaze and braised greens. To finish will be their legendary pecan pie (it really is legendary) and chocolate truffles.

The menu itself is enough to have anyone dreaming. But there’s more. Willows will be turning out the lights. And no, it’s not because of the energy crisis. They’ll be lighting the space with loads and loas of candles, making their already atmospheric restaurant even more magical.

Single people unite, because this is an evening all about you. Gather your pals, mates and buddies and book in.
