Just when you thought we’d reached maximum coffee capacity in Balham, another one opens. Brioche has landed!
The coffee capital of the capital has got to be Balham. There’s a lot of places to get your caffeine fix in and around SW12- Hopper Coffee House, Milk, HOB, Brickwood, Nata’s, Blackbird Bakery… we could go on. And now throwing their mug in the ring is Brioche, Balham’s newest cafe.
Brioche already have two locations; one in West Kensington and one in Colliers Wood, and they’ve just opened up a smaller hutch-service at 92 Balham High Road (just outside Post Market) where they’ve got a few outdoor tables if you want to take a seat whilst you enjoy your drinks and food. They’re known, of course, for their great coffee, but they also do a mean brunch/lunch offerings in their other locations. Because Brioche Balham has a smaller footprint then its 2 predecessors this one will have a slightly reduced menu- but they’ll still be serving you smoothies, juices, pastries, pancakes and bagels- as well as a dedicated kids menu. Sounds like that’s the weekend sorted.
