Is it too early for Christmas talk? Not when the news is this exciting. Battersea Power Station’s application for a booze and ice-rink licence has just been approved by Wandsworth council. This means that, come the end of November, a rink will be installed for you to live out your best Christmas lives and twirl, slide and (let’s be honest) topple on the ice. As well as that, you can expect all kinds of other festive fun like a Christmas market and fashion pop ups too. And the booze licence? Well, looks like you’ll be able to warm up with a mulled wine when you’ve skated your heart out.
