Great news! TFL have announced that as of the 6th of June work will begin on reinstating the bus stop that once stood outside the tube station.
The bus stop will serve routes running to Herne Hill, Tulse Hill and West Norwood meaning that those after public transport to those destinations will no longer need to walk the 1/2 mile from the tube to the right stop, as is currently the case. This will not only mean that accessibility is much improved for those who would usually struggle to make the 1/2 mile journey, but it should also encourage more users of public transport. The council stated that they want the vast majority of journeys to be made via public transport or by foot/bike by 2030, so steps like this are a great move in realising that goal.
