Clapham Common to Host Moonwalk for Breast Cancer Awareness in 2024

Walk The Walk, known for its dedication to breast cancer awareness, is bringing its iconic event to Clapham Common.

With a legacy spanning over 25 years, the charity is gearing up for another inspirational night on May 18, 2024.

Choose Your Challenge
Participants will face a choice between the Full Moon walk, covering 26.2 miles, or the Half Moon Plus, which is 15.1 miles. These options provide walkers with different levels of challenge as they trek through the night, promoting both health and charity.

Dress to Express
A standout feature of the event is the tradition of wearing creatively decorated bras. Next year’s theme, “Your Hero,” encourages participants to celebrate heroes who inspire them. This festive element fosters a sense of unity and fun throughout the night.

Fundraising for a Cure
Each participant is encouraged to raise at least £100. These funds go directly towards supporting breast cancer research and aiding those affected by the disease. The creative fundraising approach helps increase both contributions and awareness.

Join the Movement
Clapham Common will transform into a beacon of hope and support as participants gather under the stars. This event is not just a walk; it’s a statement of solidarity and a step towards finding a cure for breast cancer.

Prepare to lace up your shoes and join the movement against breast cancer. Walk The Walk offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a vital cause while engaging in a healthy and uplifting community event.
