Combat Conditioning does fitness in the old-school way…

George has run his Combat Conditioning classes on Tooting Common since 2019, and since then has built up a friendly and welcoming community of people who are all there to improve their fitness and feel good. Some of the members have been there since the very start, just going to show how effective the workouts are. Combat Conditioning is pretty ‘vintage’ in their approach to exercise; London is packed with cutting-edge, ‘trendy’ gyms, so it feels revolutionary (and really good) to strip it back, get in nature and get a sweat on. Here, they use old-school army training along with a few modern strength and conditioning practices but it really works. After a session with George your body will certainly know about it!

But you won’t just be returning for the workouts, there’s a great group dynamic and a big focus on team support. The classes are gritty, but with likeminded teammates around you, they’ll fly by and you’ll probably find yourself smiling your way through. It’s a wonderful community feel. Plus, George is really welcoming and, though his workouts are challenging, you’ll be encouraged all the way through and there’s always a keen eye on your form to minimise risk of injury.
