As you’re probably aware, Eco, Clapham’s much-loved sourdough pizza spot, closed its doors on Clapham High Street a few months ago.
But don’t worry—it hasn’t gone far. They are now ready to serve their iconic pizzas on Venn Street, taking over the spot where Argan, the Lebanese restaurant, used to be.
The new Eco brings more space, with 120 seats in total, including a lovely outdoor seating area for those sunny pizza dates. And if you were a fan of the open kitchen at their previous location, you’ll be glad to know it’s made a comeback, letting you see the magic happen as your sourdough is prepped and fired to perfection.
Owner Sami Wasif has worked hard to make sure the new space feels just as familiar as the original. Salvaged features from the old location, thoughtful design details, and custom artwork have brought that signature Eco charm to their fresh digs.
While the location has changed, the menu remains as solid as ever. Expect:
Eco has been a Clapham institution for 31 years, and the new Venn Street location is proof that it’s still at the top of its game. Whether you’re craving their legendary sourdough, looking for a cosy spot to catch up with friends, or just fancy watching the chefs in action at the open kitchen, the new Eco has something for everyone.
