Lambeth council are whipping out the big bucks to make the temporary Low Traffic measures permanent.
The temporary changes came into action over COVID as part of a drive to make the areas more pedestrian and cyclist-friendly. By making the changes permanent the council are aiming to future-proof the areas as London moves towards fewer cars.
Most of the cost will be construction costs, as well as the management fees.
