Lambeth Council To Spent Almost £1M To Make Railton Rd & Areas In Stockwell Low Traffic Neighbours

Lambeth council are whipping out the big bucks to make the temporary Low Traffic measures permanent.

The temporary changes came into action over COVID as part of a drive to make the areas more pedestrian and cyclist-friendly. By making the changes permanent the council are aiming to future-proof the areas as London moves towards fewer cars. ⁠

Most of the cost will be construction costs, as well as the management fees. ⁠
