Ploussard is running a trio of delicious supper clubs hosted by three of the UK’s leading female sommeliers. The menu for the 2nd is out!
Ploussard is very lovely, isn’t it? If you’ve not been down to try out this dinky wine-focused, small-platey restaurant then-where have you been? It’s a real gem on the Battersea food landscape and since opening in Spring this year it’s seen people flocking for it’s exciting bottle list, elevated atmosphere and, of course, the lamb and anchovy crumpet. Having found their feet, they’re now hosting a trio of supper club evenings, and the menu of the second, which is taking place on 25th October, has just been announced.
The ‘Unusual Pairings’ menu is showcasing grapes from the Jura region in France and is ready to “challenge traditional preconceptions about food and pairings, without losing any of the deliciousness of well-harmonised menu“. So you can expect the unexpected. The food will be cooked by Ploussard Head Chef (and co-founder) Matt Harris and the wine pairing is being orchestrated by expert Ania Smelskaya. Want to know what you’ll be eating? Check out this stunning menu:
As we said, stunning. If you want in, then act fast to get your tickets. But if you miss out don’t fret- there’s another chance to try them out at the finale of the Presents series on 29th November.
