Prince of Wales has a new terrace

After a 2 year Covid induced break, The Prince of Wales is ready to open up it’s brand new terrace this March. It’s South London’s biggest terrace (& probably best).

Opening at the end of this month, it is going to be your new favourite Summer destination. A small piece of our hearts broke when The Prince of Wales was forced to close it’s outdoor space for 2 years. With the support of their loyal customers and the Art’s Council England’s Culture Recovery Fund The POW is back and better than ever. The plans they have for their new terrace are absolutely going to make up for lost time.

The terrace (and the rest of the venue) has had a huge glow up. We are talking two licensed and heated roof terraces, a Funktion One sound system, and a capacity for 735 people right in the middle of Brixton. They’re planning on filling the space the way they do best, by hosting multi-genre events every week from Thursdays to Sundays. The mid-week events will be focused on live gigs like comedy, cabaret and bands. The weekends will be a celebration of Brixton’s rich musical heritage and you can expect events under almost any kind of music.

Their terrace launch event is on the 26th March, and you can book tickets here.
