Rocket Padel is launching Central London’s first riverside indoor padel courts at Battersea Power Station, bringing a slice of Stockholm’s padel culture to the Thames.
After a roaring success with a pop-up court at The Battersea Games in 2023, Rocket Padel is doubling down on their commitment to energise the London padel scene. They’re rolling out four premium indoor courts, promising a padel experience like no other, set against the historic backdrop of the Grade II* listed powerhouse.
A Community-Centric Venture
At the core of this exciting launch is a heartfelt aim to weave padel into the community fabric. Rocket Padel and Battersea Power Station are joining forces to launch community programmes, ensuring local youth, charities, and schools benefit from complimentary taster sessions. Moreover, this sporting endeavour is poised to create a host of job opportunities for locals, alongside educational workshops, work experience, and apprenticeships in collaboration with the LTA.

Complementing the padel courts is a landscaped public realm for all visitors to enjoy, adding a verdant touch to the riverside neighbourhood. Open daily, Rocket Padel will also feature a refreshment kiosk for that essential post-match refuel.
