Already looking ahead to the next bank holiday? Us too. Here’s an idea if you’re after something to do for the last 3 day weekend in May.
In time for the final bank holiday in May (that’s the 27th to the 29th) Salad Days Market will be taking over the Ground Floor of Turbine Hall B for the whole three day long weekend. If you’ve not heard of them, Salad Days Market is all about making “shopping small easy and fun by showcasing the best small businesses from around the UK“- something we can really get behind here at Best of South West LDN. They’ve had some really impressive pop-ups in all corners of London; Selfridges, The Hoxton and The Shard are just a few locations that have hosted their markets.
Which is why it is so exciting that they’ll be popping up in Battersea Power Station along with a line-up of 30 small businesses, including some local makers too, who will be showcasing their products to shoppers. There will be all kinds to browse; jewellery, art, ceramics, candles and fragrances, kidswear, pet accessories and so much more. To keep you fuelled up whilst you browse there will be some delicious bakeries from the South West too. What a wholesome way to spend your three day weekend.
