Santa Claus is coming to SW London… and he’s collecting your coats

It’s time to give back to the big man! Give this Father Christmas your old winter coats so he can deliver them to those who need.

Christmas is a time for giving and this year- with the cost of living crisis effecting more people than ever- giving is even more necessary to help those in need. This coat drive, lead by Wrap Up London, is the perfect opportunity to help London stay warm this winter. For their 13th year of work they’ve teamed up with Young’s Pub group to offer easy drop off locations where you can donate any coats that have outgrown your wardrobe.

The pubs will be accepting donations from now until 6th December and it’s a great excuse to have a little clear out before all the Christmas clutter swamps your home. Even more excitingly is that, on the 6th December, Santa himself will be coming to collect the donated coats. He’ll be pulling up all over the capital in a horse drawn sleigh, so keep your eyes (and ears) open for the jingle bells as he spreads Christmas cheer to those who especially need it this year.
