So Me has got all your seasonal pampering needs sorted

We were in desperate need of some TLC before silly season hit proper. But also, because it’s Christmas, we wanted to add a bit of fun to our trip and make it into a girly day out. Luckily, the staff at So Me are more than happy to accommodate this and they’ve even got a deal running throughout December. ‘Prinks & Pamper’ is a festive dream; for just £95pp you’ll get a mani, pedi and blow dry and 2 hours of unlimited Prosecco (or tea/coffee)! We headed to the nails first which is in the light, open space of the ground floor. It’s a lovely atmosphere in there and feels convivial and relaxing. We were incredibly impressed with the manicure- our beautician cared about the finished result almost more than we did and each nail was meticulously buffed, trimmed and polished. Having chosen our base colour we were offered a little bit of art and it was really impressive to see our nail tech get creative with some swirly patterns that we’ve been getting compliments on constantly since!

We headed up to the first floor for our hydrating facial in a cosy room that was heated and dimly lit. After an extensive conversation we were able to let Zuzia know exactly what it was that we wanted to focus on and we appreciated her asking in depth questions to really nail the facial. And nail it, she did! We came out glowing (and a little drowsy- it was relaxing in there) and our skin has continued to glow since.

Whilst we were doing that our pal was upstairs getting her injectables and lashes done. It was incredibly fun knowing we were both being pampered and passing each other in the hallway between treatments was a giggly delight. By all accounts, her treatments were every bit as good as what we’d experienced and she looked fantastic with her new natural-look lash extensions and said that the injectables was as seamless an experience as she’d had before.

There’s a load of hidden rooms to the side and upstairs for more privacy when you are having your treatments. They’ll do botox, fillers, laser, massages, facials, pedicures, waxing, tanning… literally anything you can think of for beauty treatments here. So whatever needs attending to, So Me will have you covered. We left feeling like pampered princesses ready to take on December. You can feel that good too!
