The Big Screen has come to Wandsworth

If there is one thing London does well during the summer months, it’s an outdoor cinema. Wandsworth is joining in too… & it’s totally free!

It’s no secret that we don’t get much sun in the UK. So when we do glimpse a bit of light up there, it only makes sense that everyone flocks to anything al fresco. Evening drinks, BBQs fired up, picnic blankets wafted out from last year… we will do anything for some vitamin D. Which is probably why an outdoor cinema is a London staple during the hot months- we will even take our movie habit outside!

Big Screen is Wandsworth’s answer to the outdoor films, and between now and the 31st July they’ve got a fully schedule of blockbuster titles, sports matches and even National Theatre productions for you to see. And it’s all for free! All you have to do is rock up and hunker down. They’ve got street food vendors ready to keep you fed and deck chairs to sit on, so it really is as easy as it gets.
