Though The High Achievers Lab is technically a gym, it is so much more than that. It is a safe space and an impressive community.
The High Achievers Lab is a cool, rough around the edges gym that really does pack a punch. The space is an old council building that has been converted into a functional gym with both indoor and outdoor areas. It’s great to get a proper, no frills sweat on. The adult classes are extremely affordable and you’ll be flipping tires, swinging dumbbells and getting a pump on in no time. If you’re in need of something more bespoke than a group class, their PT sessions are 1-2-1s with skilled professionals who will help you reach whatever goal you’re aiming for. Again, these are considerably more economic than the majority of PT classes out there.
They don’t just do fitness. Sure, you can head down for a good quality sweat, but they’re also there for life advice, to kick a ball about or just a good conversation in a safe space. The High Achievers Lab is so much more than a gym. Focused around a holistic sense of ‘being well’, it’s a carefully curated community that is friendly and welcoming to all. It’s clear that the space means a lot to many people who see it as a hub to retreat to.
There is clearly a lot of passion and care that has gone into creating and maintaining the vibe that surrounds The High Achievers Lab and there is a strong emphasis on the younger members too. There are free fitness classes for people aged between 16 and 18 years old, along with free advice sessions too. It’s centred around building confidence and life skills to help those in their most formative years- they aim to develop their people from all angles; physically, mentally and socially.
If you’re looking to get in better physical and mental shape we’d highly recommend heading down to check them out for yourself. With their addictive sense of community you won’t look back.
