This pub has been apart of the fabric of the Battersea society and will certainly be missed by the local community.
After 7 years on Battersea High Street, The Woodman Battersea is closing. With it’s gorgeous garden, delicious food and cosy interiors, it was an all-year-round kind of pub, and one that will be missed!
On the announcement post on their socials, the owners said “After 7 fantastic years at The Woodman Battersea we have made the difficult decision to move on to new opportunities, we’d like to say a big thank you to all of our friends and customers over the years.”
The pub was known especially for dishing up oysters (it hosted the oyster festival over several years) and it’s incredible roasts. The closure of this well loved spot will certainly be mourned, but we wish the owners the very best on their new ventures.
