Your favourite Saturday market is getting a meaty upgrade with 2 new traders who will be starting this weekend (19th). If you’re in the market for fish or some interesting new cuts of meat to try, they have got you covered.
1. North Sea Seafood
Fresh fish caught straight off the Norfolk coast. Anything you can think of they’ve probably got; crab, lobster, cod, haddock, smoked haddock, plaice, lemon sole, dover sole, fish cakes, brown shrimps, smoked mackerel, sea bass, red sea bream, squid, sea trout, cod roe (when in season), cod and halibut… the list goes on! The owner (and fisherman) Lukasz began North Sea Seafood as a smoking venture so there will also be some amazing artisan fish for you. Kippers for brekky anyone?
2. Woodmill Game
A specialist farm for wild and sustainable Scottish game, Woodmill Game have a vast selection of the rarer meats- perfect if you want to try something new or treat yourself to a favourite. You can expect a selection of venison cuts, a signature sausage collection (including flavours like pheasant & ginger and partridge & pancetta), homemade game pies and ready meal as well seasonal small game and birds.
