Two properties have come on sale at Buckingham Gate which would make you (almost) neighbours to HRH Charlie.
Buckingham Palace has got to be one of the most recognisable ‘homes’ in the UK. Over 4 floors, there are 52 Royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms and 78 bathrooms. There’s a swimming pool, a ballroom and, obviously, the throne room too. All the essentials for a cosy family house. Of course, this comes at a bit of a price. In 2021 it was estimated that the Palace would cost £2,550,018 to rent per month. Just a fraction over the average (£989 pcm) rental price for London then.
There’s a few reasons why Buckingham Palace is an unattainable property for the average Londoner. Price and not having Royal blood both put a spanner in the works. But if you’ve got a bit of spare cash then this might just be the next best thing…
