2023 is drawing to a close! If you want to find some of the best parties to see off the year then check out this list of Battersea events.
Vagabond, SW11 8EZ
Start the year as you mean to go on: surrounded by over 100 bottles of wine. Vagabond at Battersea Power Station is the only one of their branches staying open to see in the New Year so make the most of it! They’ve got packages ready to pre-book so you can rock up with no stress.
Passyunk, SW11 7DN
It’s a classic American house party over at Passyunk, and we’d expect nothing less. There’ll be games, there’ll be music and there’ll be all you can eat/drink all night long included with your ticket. Let the fun begin.
No.29 Power Station West, SW11 8EG
Don’t F**k with Disco will be on the decks, you’ll get a welcome drink with your tickets (which, by the way, are only a tenner!) and it’s 2am finish so you can really get stuck in.
Lost Society, SW11 4LS
Lost Society are getting sparkly for their Disco Ball, where you’ll get a glass of bubbles on arrival, DJs playing all the bangers you want to dance to and a complimentary sore head for the morning.
Battersea Power Station, SW11 8BJ
Unsurprisingly, there’s a lot going on in the Power Station this New Year’s Eve. Arcade Food Hall have got a duo of DJs on the decks ready to play disco anthems whilst you eat your way round the 13 vendors. It’s a casual, fun way to see in ’24. There are loads of special menus running in the evening (JOIA, Tapas Brindisa, Noci, Fiume and the newly opened Dishoom are all doing something special) and we especially like the look of Cinnamon Kitchen’s Indian-inspired set menu. For £75pp you’ll get a glass of Champagne, a shared appetiser, starter, main course, shared side dishes and a dessert or coffee. Or, try your hand at golf and head to Birdies for something a little alternative. Play a round of crazy golf, get a cocktail (or two) down you! They’ll be open until 1am so it’s great for doing NYE differently.
The big hit of the NYE celebrations at the Power Station has got to be Control Room B. The New Year’s Eve Black Tie Ball is going to be every bit as glamorous as it sounds, so don your glad rags and enjoy the 50’s theme, Champagne and live DJ.
Northcote Records, SW11 1NT
Guilty pop pleasures, electro and house are the order of the night at Northcote Records. Throw it all the way back to the tunes you love to love. You’ll start ’24 with a load of endorphins and- probably- no voice.
Glide, SW8 5BN
This has got to be one of the most magical (and wholesome) ways to see in 2024. Glide will be open until 1am so you can start the New Year on ice whilst witnessing the fireworks popping over the Thames. Pretty cool.
London New Year’s Eve Ball, SW11 4NJ
This is the splash-out-do-it-in-style kind of New Year event. Hosted in the event space in the middle of Battersea Park, you’ll be welcomed by a glass of bubbles and canapés (and dancing skeletons) before you settle in to a 4 course banquet. It’s carnivale themed so there’ll be live performers, incredible lighting, a band, dodgems and DJs to keep the party, well, partying.
The Clapham Grand, SW11 1TT
‘New Year, New Butch’ is the NYE event for lesbian and bisexual women, trans and non-binary people. It’s going to be a celebration of butch culture and will be going on until the wee hours of 2024.
The Old Bank, SW11 1NJ
The Old Bank are doing a Mardi Gras themed New Year’s Eve party this year. A (free!) ticket will get you guaranteed entry before 10:30pm and a complementary glass of fizz to to ring in 2024, so this would be a great option if you’re looking for somewhere to continue the festivities after your dinner reservation.
