Bank Holiday crept up on you and you’re feeling stuck for ideas? Don’t fret, we’ve put together your perfect Clapham BH schedule.
Friday evening: The Bread & Roses
Go into the long weekend with all guns blazing and see some live music at the Bread & Roses. King’s Division, Holloway Star and a surprise guest will be rockin’ out from 8.30pm. And if the events here are anything to go on… this is going to be a right knees up.
Saturday morning: Clapham Common
Get some fresh air in your lungs to start the Bank Holiday well. Head to the Common at 10.30am where ‘Terrible Football’ is putting on free sessions. Have a kick around without any of the pressure of being the next Beckham, and meet some new people whilst you’re at it.
Saturday brunch: The London Cocktail Club
Scrub up for this No Scrubs bottomless brunch, where for 1 or 2 hours you’ll have unlimited fizz and select cocktails with your food. The theme says it all- expect old school R&B tunes, live music and a LOT of fun.
Sunday all day: Venn Street Records
Head down early to Venn Street Records where, from 2pm, the first 100 customers in through the door will be welcomed with a free Bandarra Spritz! Start with a Spritz and stay for the rest of the afternoon where there will be live (and al fresco!) music from Oompah Brass at 5.30pm.
Monday afternoon: Clapham Picture House
Ease into your day slowly and make your way to the Picture House. At 3pm (and for one day only) they’ll be showing a life affirming docu-film about George Ezra’s coast-to-coast walk across the length of the UK. Wholesome, feel good and exactly what you need after a big weekend.
Monday evening: Lievito Madre
Soak up those Monday evening rays and say goodbye to a busy weekend on the newly opened roof terrace of Lievito Madre. A sweet, intimate setting with lots of tables for two, grab a glass of wine and a top quality pizza and you’ve got a perfect date night with your favourite person.
