ChocoLit are putting on kid-friendly book clubs every Monday between 5.40pm and 6.20pm. Good for 7 to 10 year olds, these sessions will give your book worms a chance to read aloud (if they want!), hear snippets from the book and discuss the story. Sign up to find out which book is next!
See drag performers battle it out at this Disney themed event

Disnay Snatched is taking over The Two Brewers, where you can watch competitors take to the stage to win the judges votes. They’ll be impersonating Disney characters so animation fans, this one’s for you. The event is in collaboration with Oasis, which is raising funds for HIV awareness, support and prevention.
Go for a run

Start your Sunday off with a sweat and join this run around Clapham Common. Choose between a 5km or a 10km race and get ready to feel those post-exercise endorphins. Where are you brunching afterwards?

LGBTQIA+ acts to the front! The Big Drag Comedy show at The Bridge will certainly add a little pep to your Monday evening- especially because it is hosted by Teena. Expect to laugh your socks off.

We wrote about it here, but it’s so cool we will tell you again; Abby Cocovini is the resident artist at Picturehouse Clapham and she has been producing a piece of art every day in June. You’ll be able to see all of the works at the exhibition which runs for 2 weeks from the 12th July and if you like what you see then you can donate to Refuge in exchange for art.

Luna Cinema is back with their series of outdoor movies for your summery evenings. There’s a bunch to see: Clueless, Magic Mike, Top Gun: Maverick, Greece and The Goonies. Just book in, hunker down and maybe bring a jumper just in case it gets chilly.
Eat good food and find ‘the one’

Single? Not for much longer is you sign up to this event! Let go of your solo hot girl summer ideals and head to The Little Orange Door to meet a table-full of other singles at this sociable supper club reserved for single people only. And if you don’t find anyone to flirt with at least you’ll have a delicious meal cooked by the skilled LOD chefs.

The Clapham Comedy Club are descending on The Bread and Roses Theatre for a night of, you guessed it, comedy. “Step into the world of Abandoman and help craft a futuristic three-day music festival in just 60 minutes. Abandoman’s ingenious blend of technology and improvisation creates a unique and exhilarating live experience.” Intrigued? Us too.
