What to do in Clapham this MARCH

Daffodils are popping up, you’ve heard your neighbour mention a ‘BBQ’… Yep, Spring is coming and it’s March already!

Go to the Blingo

Where: Infernos, SW4 7UH

When: 18th March, 7pm

Bingo, but not the kind your nana goes to. This is a rowdy, hip-hopped version of the usual fair. And it’s hosted by a 87 year old at Infernos, so really, that is all you need to know.

Have a jellicle time

Where: Two Brewers, SW4 7UJ

When: 11th March, 7.30pm

Of COURSE this is a thing. How To Live A Jellicle Life is a one man comedy act all about the film CATS… and ‘other sexy animals’. This is the finale spot of the show’s national tour and it’s already had a lot of 5* reviews so expect a lot of cat related silliness.

Go to a retro bottomless brunch

Credit: Eventbrite

Where: Aquum, SW4 7UL

When: 26th March

One for the gamers! This is bottomless brunch WITH arcade games. You’ll get a main dish, and an hour of unlimited booze to loosen you up for the ‘RETROTAINMENT’ (their word, not ours…). Limber up those thumbs, its snake time.

Go to the opera

Where: St. Paul’s Church, SW4 0DZ

When: 24th March, 7.30pm

Oh daaaaarling. If you’re after a more of a civilised evening, this is the event for you. David Butt Philip is performing an operatic evening over at St Paul’s Church and it will be ever bit as sophisticated as you want it to be. Tickets for this one are going fast, so book stat.
