Whether you’re interested in the history of Mexico’s victory over the French Empire or you’re interested in tequila, there’s a celebration for you.
Mezcalito, SW3 6NR
There is a full evening fiesta happening over in Chelsea. With all the tequila-based cocktails you can shake a stick at plus Mexican food to munch on, you’ll be dancing to the live DJ all evening.
Pop Brixton, SW9 8PQ
You can always rely on Pop to put on a good celebration when the time is right. They’re not overlooking the 5th and have promised a live Mariachi show for the evening. Perfect background music for when you’re eating some street food, even better for dancing to later on.
Jalisco, SW9 8PR
Jalisco are OBVIOUSLY doing something! From 6pm there will be some great live music (which will be followed by a DJ as the evening progresses) and you’ll be able to get your hands on 2 tacos for a fiver as well as 2 margaritas for £10. Smells like a great time.
Hacha, SW9 8LD
The kings of tequila in London are celebrating the 5th with a collaboration with the illustrator Kate Hazell who has created 50 bespoke pieces of art inspired by Cinco de Mayo. Each one will be signed, numbered and joined by a bottle of the Pear and Ginger Mirror Margarita- which is a piece of art in it’s own entity.
